GTR promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian and bi-sexual persons; their families and friends through: support in coping with changes and an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and secure basic civil rights.

GTR Strives to provide opportunities for dialogue about sexual orientation and act to create a society that is both healthy and respectful of human diversity.
